Lydia H. Yoder, 104, of Garnett, KS, formerly of Shipshewana, died at 5:50 am on Saturday, June 25, at her residence in Garnett, KS.

She was born on June 10, 1912, in Hutchinson, KS, to Harry D. and Susan (Miller) Bontrager. On March 11, 1931 in Hutchinson, KS she married Felty S. Yoder, he died January 25, 2000.

Surviving are two daughters, Clara (Lonnie) Yoder of Hamilton, MO, Gertie (LaVern) Burkholder of Garnett, KS; three sons, Adin (Anne) Yoder of Middlebury, Willie (Gail) Yoder of Apache Junction, AZ, Olen (Treva) Yoder of Goshen; 34 grandchildren; 106 great grandchildren; 40 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ruby Eash; three sons, Merle Yoder, Felty Yoder, Jr., Harry Yoder; two sons-in-law, Harvey Eash, Charlie Hawks; two grandchild, Michelle Wilcox, Timmy Hawks; three great grandchildren; seven brothers, Daniel Bontrager, Samuel Bontrager, Ammon Bontrager, Andrew Bontrager, Eli Bontrager, Benedict Bontrager, Harry D. Bontrager, Jr.; one sister, Gertrude Troyer.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Visitation will be after 1:00 pm on Wednesday June 29, at the Arlin Lambright residence, 510 Middlebury Street, Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday June 30, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Jerry Miller and Ministers Nate Miller, Mel Shetler, Vernon Lambright.

Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery, Middlebury.
