Collinston Man Dies at Home
A. J. Caldwell Succumbs At Age 75 Years; Rites Sunday
A. J. Caldwell, aged 75, prominent citizen of Collinston, died in the St. Francis Sanitarium, in Monroe, Saturday morning.
Mr. Caldwell was born and reared in Kentucky and came to Collinston in 1927. He was living here when he became ill and was taken to the Monroe Sanitarium.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Collinston Sunday morning and interment followed in the Christ Church Cemetery in Bastrop.
Survivors are:
Two sons:

William Caldwell
Two daughters:
Harriett Caldwell of Collinston, LA
Mrs. H. S. Evans, Jr., of Glen Ridge, New Jersey
One brother:
Joe Caldwell of Yazoo City, Mississippi
Mrs. Caldwell, wife of the deceased, died about two years ago.
The pallbearers were:
John Norsworthy, Guy Boyd, Charlie Mason, Lane Pollock, L. E. Tilberry and Ed Morris.
