A Graveside service will be held Monday, June 27, 2016, at Sand Hill Cemetery for Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Brewer, age 59 of Richton, who died on June 24, 2016. Bro. Ronnie Maxie will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers will be Al Felts, Noah Wade-Felts, Terry Fisher, Darren Wade, Nick Chatom, Ikey Byrd, Jaden Felts and Keith Carpenter.
Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her parents, Spencer Marvin Wade and Eugenia Wade; and sister, Elizabeth Wade Pineda.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Brewer; son, Alex Brewer; grandson, Bailey Lex Brewer, all of Sand Hill; sister, Martha (Tom) Simms of Ocean Springs; brothers, Wiley Charles (Effie) Wade of Eufala, AL, Spencer Marvin (Jackie) Wade, Jr. of Gadsen, AL, Larry Shelton (Loretta) Wade of Citronelle, AL, Gary (Rhonda) Wade of Sand Hill, Shayne (Dottie) Wade of Sand Hill, Don (Laura) Wade of Sand Hill; and a host of nieces of nephews.
She was a loving and dedicated daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, singer, musician, school teacher, and a member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church. She taught at the McLain Attendance Center for 12 years as a Language Arts teacher for the 5th – 8th grade.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 26, 2016, from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. at Jones & Son Funeral Home.
