"Electa Matterson, wife of the late Daniel J. Bresee of this village, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edwin Hopkins at Woodhaven, L. I., Wednesday morning from the infirmities of old age, she being in her 92nd year. During her illness of many months, Mrs. Bresee had received all the care that a loving daughter could give her. Mrs. Bresee had spent most of her life in this village, going to Woodhaven to live with her daughter a few years ago. A member of the Morris Baptist church, she was a woman well liked and respected by many friends and associates in this village. She was a sister of the late Andrew and Edward Matterson of Morris township. Mrs. Bresee is survived by the daughter above-named, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Zelia Bresee of this village, and by two grandchildren and other more distant relatives residing in Morris and vicinity. The funeral was held from her late home here at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Her former pastor, Rev. Fred J. W.
