Bill T. Allen passed away Monday, June 20th, at the age of 95.
Bill was born March 8, 1921 to William Thomas Allen, Sr. & Louise Elizabeth Baumert Allen in Austin, TX. On April 16, 1988, he married Elberta Jane Schuch at Bethany Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg.
Bill is survived by his wife: Elberta “Berta” Allen of Fredericksburg; children: Mike Allen & wife Linda of Azle; Chris Allen & wife Elizabeth of Harper; J. Wipff & wife Annette of Albany, OR; Russell Wipff & wife Tina of Fredericksburg; 10 grandchildren: Kirk, Jonathan, Laura, Bailey, & Ashley Wipff, Katelyn, Hil, Wil, Sean, & Derek Allen; 7 great-grandchildren, & a sister: Rachel Callum of Austin.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Bert Allen, a daughter: Janis Sue Allen, & sisters: Mary Cooley, Sis Black, & Dot Kutalek.
Funeral services for Bill Allen will be Friday, June 24th, 10:30 AM in Bethany Lutheran Church, with Revs. Casey Zesch & Travis Meier officiating. Graveside service & interment will be Friday, 2:30 PM, in Oak Rest Cemetery in Medina.
Visitation for Bill will be Thursday, June 23rd, 4-7 PM in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, or the charity of one’s choice.
