Well Known Hydetown Man Died Yesterday - John A. Peterson, Aged 58 Years, Had Been Failing in Health for Several Years.
John A. Peterson, for many years a resident of Titusville and Hydetown, passed away at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home in Hydetown, aged 58 years. Mr. Peterson had been in failing health for several years and for the past year had been confined to his home most of the time.

Mr. Peterson was born in Titusville on January 22, 1871 and had always lived in this vicinity. For many years he operated meat markets in different localities in Titusville and enjoyed a wide acquaintance in the city and surrounding country.

Besides the widow, Mrs. Mary Nelbach Peterson, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Louis S. Reese of Kingston, Pa. There is one granddaughter, and two brothers, Charles and Clarence Peterson, both of this city.

Mr. Peterson was a member of Hydetown lodge of Odd Fellows and the lodge will conduct services at the cemetery on Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted from the home, Thursday at 2 p.m., with Rev. L.W. Chambers, pastor of Hydetown M.E. church, officiating. Friends are kindly requested to omit flowers.
