Brenda Sue Matthews Nail of Melbourne, Arkansas

Brenda Sue Matthews Nail, daughter of the Dolores Williams Robertson and the late Burlin Max Matthews, was born June 6, 1953 in Fullerton, California. She departed this life June 23, 2016 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 63 years and 17 days. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was a graduate of Ozarka College in Melbourne. During her working years, she was employed by Superior Home Health as an Office Manager.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: April and Chris Herrington of College Grove, Tennessee; her mother: Dolores Robertson and husband Harold of Melbourne; two sisters: Linda Morgan and husband Jerry of Melbourne and Dana Dillard and husband Mike of Calico Rock; one grandson: Patton Herrington of College Grove, Tennessee; two nephews and one niece: Reed Hamby of Luxora, Arkansas, Sarah Hamby of Jonesboro and Nick Morgan of Melbourne and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28 from 10 - 12 noon at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Carl Williams officiating. Burial will be at Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
