She was born in Henley to William Francis Frank and Katherine Schulte Frank. She was married on January 29, 1929 in Marys Home to John Henry Iven who died on October 1, 1970. She was married on September 29, 1980 in Jefferson City to Hershel Isaac Jenkins, Sr. who survives at the home.
Other survivors include a son, Robert J. Iven, Jefferson City; a daughter, Joann C. Thessen, Taos; four step-sons, Hershel Jenkins, Jr. O'Fallon; Rick Jenkins, Brandon, Florida; Randy Jenkins, Jefferson City; and David Jenkins, Conneautville, Pennsylvania; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen step-grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; thirteen step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Elfie Meyerpeter, Jefferson City; and Irene Sanning, Eldon.

A homemaker, she retired in 1978 as a sales clerk with J.C. Penney Company where she had been employed for seventeen years.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
