Obituary:
John P. Fry, 77, of Seward R.D. 1, passed away Wednesday May 19, 1965, at his late home. Born July 19, 1887 in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County, he was a son of George and Annie Rager Fry. Mr. Fry was a member of Armagh-Seward Presbyterian Church. Survivors included his wife Dora Campbell Fry and these children: Mrs. Jack (Ann) Marsh, Seward R.D. 1; Mrs. Donald (Lois Jean) Bender, Helen and Cora Fry, all of Johntown; Mrs. James (Phyllis) Cramer, Armagh; Gladys Fry, Jacksonville, Fla.; and John C. Fry, Robinson; nine grandchildren; the following brother and two sisters: Daniel Fry, Mrs Dora Trindle and Laura Fry, all of Seward. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. this evening at the Kenneth N. Gray Funeral Home, Seward, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. William J. Green officiating. Interment will be in Armagh Cemetery.
