Ruby D. Bishop

Ruby Dorothy Bishop, 96, of Kingsport passed away and went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Wexford House.
Born in Imboden, VA she was the daughter of the late Jake and Martha Moore Phillips. Her children were her life and favorite pastime. She will be best remembered for being a devoted mother and homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Jean Bishop; son, Perry Conley Bishop; two sisters, Goldie and Alice Phillips and two brothers, Cecil and Garney Phillips.
She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Bishop Sneed and husband, Leslie of Oklahoma City, OK; two sons, Randy Bishop and wife Della of Kingsport and Monty Dean Bishop of Kingsport; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held, Sunday, 2pm, at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
