Tombstone inscription reads: "Sacred to the memory of Col. Adam McWillie who departed this life on the 23rd of April, 1827 in the 31st year of his age. He was a native of Ireland but early in life, removed to this neighborhood where he continued to reside until his death. He left a sife and seven children to lament their bereavement."
