Mable Jean Williams, age 87, of Irving, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She was born on April 6, 1929 in McCamey, Texas, the daughter of J.B. and Lillie Mae Reding. Jean graduated from N.R. Crozier Technical High School and was a secretary for Irving ISD Elementary School. On December 17, 1948 she married the love of her life Charles Ray Williams, he preceded her in death.
Jean was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She would open her home to anyone, with open arms and a loving smile. Jean enjoyed visiting the coast and fishing. She loved her pet, The Aggie's, The Dallas Cowboys, and John Wayne Collectables. Most of all Jean loved her family, especially getting together for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. You could always count her in for a good family reunion. Jean truly loved and enjoyed her family and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kisinger and husband, Clyde; sons, John Williams and wife, Cindy, James Williams and wife, Susan, and Kenneth Williams; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; nephew, Chris Reding wife, Sharon, and their 2 children; sister-in-law, Diana Reding; among numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10:00am on Friday, June 24, 2016 in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Interment following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
