She was born February 18, 1967 in Galesburg the daughter of Arthur O. “Junior” and Patty Eades Bagwell, Jr. She married Rod Riggs on September 17, 1988 in Abingdon, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Rod; her sons, Connor Riggs of Urbana, Illinois and Collin Riggs of Astoria Queens, New York; her daughter, Lauren Riggs of Galesburg; her parents, Arthur and Patty Bagwell, Jr. of Abingdon; her brother, Chris (Oralea) Bagwell of Galesburg and her two sisters, Bonnie (Randy) Randle, Jr. of Dwight, Illinois and Connie (Roger) Springer of Middle Grove, Illinois.
Donna worked as the general manager of Innkeeper’s Coffee for 14 years. She graduated from Abingdon High School in 1985 and had attended Illinois College and Western Illinois University.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Victor Randle, Jr. will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the chapel. Cremation will be accorded. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery.
