His parents were Jermiah & Bridget Touhey from Ireland. On Dec 25, 1875, he married Mary A. (Leonard) Rogers in Milford, MA. One of their children was Annie Teresa Rogers McGunnigle, married to William Edward McGunnigle. Also Elizabeth Sanderson, Hannora, John T, Mary M, Ellen Barrett. He had 9 children & 2 or 3 that didn't live to adulthood. He lived in Milford, MA for many years working in the shoe factories, then moved to Brockton, MA. where he continued as a bootmaker. Died at the Carney Hospital in Boston, MA.
His daughter, Annie McGunnigle, told me she grew up on a farm in Milford. Not sure if that was true or an excuse of why I couldn't have a pet. She said she had being around enough animals!

Jeremiah and his wife Mary Agnes had 17 children, 5 were stillbirths and 5 died in infancy or early childhood. He became a naturalized US Citizen on February 8, 1877.
