Elisa Marie Markham-Johnson, 47, of Dallas, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2016.
She was born on September 15, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois.
Elisa received an Associate's Degree from the Southeast Arkansas Tech College in Pine Bluff. She worked as an LPN/LVN Nurse for more than twenty-five years. She was employed with RTG Medical where she worked as a Travel Nurse, most recently stationed in South Dakota. Ms. Johnson was also employed by Jefferson Regional Medical Center where she worked for eight years (2003-2011).
She graduated in the Pine Bluff High School Class of 1986 and was a Member of the Order of the Eastern Star Elizabeth Chapter #3.
Elisa was preceded in death by her parents, Willie D. Markham and Evelyn Johns-Markham.
She is survived by her daughter, Kendra Johnson-McKinnie (Deandre) of Milwaukee, WI; her sisters: Sharon King-Rand (Irving) of New York, NY, Louise Channey-Hayes (Bobby) of Des Plaines, IL, and Patricia Channey-Walburg of Evanston, IL; and a host of family and friends.
The funeral services will be held in New Community Baptist Church with Pastor Patrick Lockett officiating. The internment services will be held at Graceland Cemetery (Cedar Grove Section).
