KENT, Kenneth Stanley"Kenney" 72, passed away quietly June 1, 2016. Kenney was born in Wauchula on Memorial Day, 1944. His family moved to Tampa in 1950 and Kenney has remained in the area making a career in the banking equipment industry. Kenney married the late Sharon Solomon in 1968 and is survived by two wonderful children, David and Linda. He is also mourned by a brother, Art; and cousins Rusty and Barbara, with her husband, Henry who were at Kenney's side during his battle with pancreatic cancer. Kenney was a kind and gentle family man whose concern for the happiness and well-being of family and friends was of primary importance. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Graveside Services will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Friday, June 24, 2016, 10 am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gulfside Hospice.
