She was born Nov. 7, 1949, in Peoria to Raymond L. and Mary F. (Stear) Potter. She married Bradley Walker on Sept. 19, 1982, in Peoria. He survives, along with one daughter, Stefanie Franks of Eureka; three stepdaughters, Shannon Berg of St. Paul, MN, Tara (Brent) Hougham of Edwards and Jaela (Steve) Brand of Fernandina Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Malori Franks and Alix Perdue; six step-grandchildren, Willa Berg, Thea Berg, Ava Hougham, Luke Hougham, Elias Brand and Anneli Brand; and one great-granddaughter, Reese Buchanan. She is also survived by eleven sisters, Donna (Dale) Uppole of Pekin, Charlene (Roger) Turner of East Peoria, Mary (Jim) Runyon of East Peoria, Rosalee (Wilbert) Marchand of Metamora, Linda (Emmett) Henderson of The Villages, FL, Karen (Jim) Moss of Morton, Cheri (Chris Ragusa) Michel of East Peoria, Valerie (Bill) Tate of East Peoria, Teresa (Kenny) Pilgrim of East Peoria, Laurie (Mike) Robinson of Morton and Kimberly (Jeff) Drum of Creve Coeur, three brothers, Raymond (Clara) Potter of Pensacola, FL, Marshall Potter of East Peoria and Ron (Kari) Potter of Morton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Nancy Vermillion; one brother, Chester Potter; two nieces; and two nephews.
Nina worked for Key Industries as a Production Artist in East Peoria until its closing.She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed girls night out and crafting.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be at a later date. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
