Memorial Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Grandview Cemetery in Hannibal with Rev. Gail Aurand officiating.
Tom was born July 16, 1936, in Hannibal, the son of Owen Kennedy and Mary Evaline McBride Williams. On August 4, 1990 in Bowling Green he married Pamela Fisher. She survives. Other survivors include three children from his first marriage Tim Williams, Beth Coon and husband Steve and Ann Brown and husband Mark; grandchildren Calvin and Ethan Coon and Garrett Brown; brother Dr. Ed Williams.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents and son Mark Williams.
Tom grew up and lived in Bowling Green most of his life and attended the Frankford Christian Church. He attended Bowling Green Schools, graduated class of 1954 and received a Bachelor of Business in 1958 from St. Louis University. Tom owned and operated OK Williams Insurance Agency for 30 years. After he retired he drove a school bus, drove for Oats and even drove the Hannibal trolley. The saxophone was Tom’s passion. He loved the saxophone from the time he started playing it in the fourth grade. He enjoyed traveling and took many trips.
