HAMPTON - Mrs. Brenda Mae Blankenship Middleton, 60, of 83 Stone Lane in Hampton, died Monday afternoon, September 1, 2003, in the Harper Convalescent Center in Estill after an extended illness.
Mrs. Middleton was born in Starksville, Miss., February 3, 1943, a daughter of the late Willie Clyde Blankenship and Nora Mae Turner Blankenship. She was a homemaker and a member of Brunson Baptist Church. She was the widow Burleigh Ray Middleton.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sand Hill Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Glen Samples, with burial in the Sandy Run Cemetery, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.
Friends may call at the chapel in Hampton 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until 10 a.m., when the casket will be placed in the church prior to services.
