Carl R. Hale, 96, of 1412 Wasson St., Streator died at 11:50 p.m. Jan. 25, 2002, in St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.
Mr. Hale was born June 26, 1905, in Fairbury, to George and Sadie (Watkins) Hale. He married Evelyn Harms on Feb. 7, 1948, in Bloomington.
Survivors include one son, Lyle Hale of Streator; and one sister, Verna Kimberling of Tipton, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife on March 17, 2000; and two sisters.
He attended grade and high school in Iowa. He was a farmer all of his life and was employed by Voigts Mfg.
He was affiliated with the Baptist Church
