Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie, on November 5, 2010; a brother, George Malone; and two sisters, Ruth Dawson, and Sara Kay Nettles who recently passed away on November 3, 2015.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Missy Hulbert Malone of Ontario, Ohio; a grandson and his wife, Charles E. and Whitney Malone of Blacklick; a sister, Wanda (George) Ervin of Delphos; close sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Young of Wellston, Charlotte Hubbard of Jackson, and Samuel Wilt of Wellston; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. Graveside services will follow on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston with Pastor Mark Clingan officiating. Military honor services at the grave will be by the combined unit of American Legion Post #371 and DAV Chapter 45.
