Ina Lucy Payne
Ina Lucy Payne, 77, of Dora (Good Hope-River Road community), died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Good Hope Cemetery. The Revs. Lynn Wilson and Eugene Carver will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home will direct.

Mrs. Payne was born on April 4, 1928, in Saragossa to Pearl Cecil Ferguson and Jala Lois Blanton Ferguson. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church since 1952.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, James Hollis Ferguson, Earl Cecil Ferguson, Leon Brant Ferguson, Sr., Tama Jean Gean Griffin, and Eloise Odom; and son-in-law, Ronnie Ware.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arnold Payne; daughters, Patricia Ware and Arna Lois (Randall) Pridmore, all of Dora; grandchildren, Ronald Shane Ware of Corner, Michael Jonathan (Kelly) Glover Jr. and Tisha Shanae (Gary Lee) Cagle, all of Dora, Derik Arnold Pridmore of New York, and Lance Corporal Jay Patrick (Stacy) Pridmore of San Diego, Calif.; and great-grandchildren, Cristopher Shane Ware, Ethan Kyler Glover and Aibgail Elisabeth Glover.
