Edward C. Riha, 64, of 1429 Hawthorne Ave., Two Rivers, a late retired Two
Rivers south side tavern operator, died late Saturday upon arrival at Two
Rivers Municipal Hospital following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Klein and Stangel, Inc., Funeral
Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. Karl F. Koch officiating. Burial will be in Forest
View Cemetery.
Mr. Riha was born June 25, 1903, in the Town of Gibson, a son of the late Frank
and Mary Moss Riha. He came to Two Rivers as a young man and for 20 years was
employed as a mechanic at Langer Bros. Garage, now operated by his son, Donald,
and a son-in-law, Harvey Glaser.
For a number of years later he owned and operated the Riha tavern on Madison
Street, retiring four years ago, and turning over the operation to his son, Paul.
He was a member of the Manitowoc County Tavern League and a director for six
years.
Besides the sons, he leaves his wife, the former Rose De Bauche, whom he married
at Two Rivers June 17, 1930; three sisters, Mrs. William (Rose) Flanagan of
Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Lilly Wilsmann and Mrs. Valdimir (Marion) Krescheck,
both of Two Rivers; a brother, Adolph of Two Rivers, and two grandchildren.

MISS DE BAUCHE BRIDE OF EDWARD RIHA
At the Emanuel Ev. Church at Two Rivers this afternoon at 3 o'clock, Miss Rose
DeBauche became the bride of Edward Riha of Two Rivers at a ceremony by Rev.
Franklin E. Schlueter before immediate relatives and friends.
Miss Frances Antles was the maid of honor and Ray Antles the best man, while
Miss Victoria Meyer and Adolph Riha were the other attendants.
A reception for one hundred relatives and friends was held at the groom's home
after the ceremony and a six o'clock dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Riha will
leave Wednesday morning for Chicago to spend a week's honeymoon and after June
24th will be at home to friends at 2006 Thirteenth Street. Mr. Riha is a mechanic
at Langer Brothers Garage. Miss DeBauche, who made her home at 1820 Madison
Street, is the daughter of Philip DeBauche of Algoma, while Mr. Riha is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Riha, 2006 Thirteenth St.
