Carolyn May Vest, 60, of Jasper, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at Bell Funeral Home with burial in Bryan Cemetery. The Rev. James Aycock will officiate. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today. Bell Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Vest was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Baker May; and brother, Raymond May.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald M. Vest of Jasper; daughters, Angela Saint and her husband, Ronnie, of Graysville, Melinda Burgess and her husband, Michael, of Corner, and Johnnie Sue Ingram and her husband, Darren, of Bagley; sons, Jerry Lynn Vest and Ricky Vest, both of Jasper; father, Clyde M. May of Jasper, formerly of Morgan's Chapel; sister, Linda Martinez and her husband, Sixto, of Corner; brothers, Gene May and his wife, Virginia, Howard May and his wife, Dottie, Gordon May and his wife, Carol, Harry May and his wife, Sandy, and Donnie May, all of Dora; grandchildren, Johnathon Peterson of Adamsville; Matthew Peterson of Kilgore, Michelle Burgess and Tyler Burgess, both of Corner, and Morgan Ingram of Bagley; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Peterson of Adamsville and Kaitlyn Burgess of Corner; and a host of nieShirley Seale
