Wanda Faye Sumner Rainey, 70, of Quinton died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at her residence.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home chapel with burial in Brasfield Cemetery in Burnwell. The Rev. Gene Smith will officiate. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. tonight.
She was a homemaker and a member of Burnwell Bible Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herschel Sumner.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin T. Rainey of Quinton; two daughters, Cathy Thomas and her husband, Gary, of Dora and Donna Cummings and her husband, Robert, of Hoover; three sons, David Sumner of Birmingham, Sammy Sumner of Dora, and Danny Sumner and his wife, Julie, of Burnwell; one sister, Carolyn Vintson of Dora; two brothers, Buddy Ayers and his wife, Betty, of Sumiton and Jimmy Ayers and his wife, Mona, of Graysville; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
