Lynette Davis Brown, 67, of Paducah, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her home.
Lynette was born in Tucumcari, NM on September 23, 1948 to the late Talmadge Davis and Viola Williams Davis Lynn. In 1972, Lynette received her bachelor’s degree from Murray State University. She was an art instructor and former member of Paducah Area Painter’s Alliance. Lynette was a national counselor for the La Leche League. She was a longtime member of Heartland Worship Center.
Surviving are her husband, Glen Brown; three daughters, Leah Dumortier of Michigan City, IN, Jennie Rimes and husband Chris of Savannah, GA and Martha Lynn Manterfield and husband Wes of Savannah, GA; son, Chris Albritton of Paducah; step-daughter, Shari Dublin and husband Barry of Paducah; step-son, Glen D. Brown and wife Cindy of Paducah; and twelve grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Nathan Joyce officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
