Born and raised in Concord.
Jonathan went to be with Jesus on Saturday morning, he was 52.
He was an Ironworker for 13 years before answering the call God had for his life to be a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He wants everyone to know God has a plan and purpose for their life and no case is too hard for Jesus.
He is survived by his beautiful and loving wife Laura Gee; father Dr. James D. Gee; his sisters Julie McClendon and Barbara Gee; his Children Jessica, Curtis (Briana), Juliana, and Diana along with his grandkids Lila and unborn Noah Jonathan. He is also survived by many dear family members, friends, disciples and church family. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Diana, and his brother Jimmy.
Jonathan is known as a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, fisherman/fisher of men and fearless administer of the Gospel. Few have had a heart for the lost and unreached quite like him, and everyone was family; and he believes family is forever.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at New Hope Church, 2120 Olivera Ct., Concord, CA 94520. Funeral Service will be at 11:00AM, Thursday, June 23, 2016 also at New Hope Church. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Concord, CA.
