Harold Lynn Dougan, age 70, went to be with the Lord on Monday June 20th, 2016. He was born in Emmet, Arkansas on August 4th, 1945 to Floyd Turner Dougan and Modenia Annabelle Martin Dougan.

He enjoyed playing golf, watching western movies and eating Whataburger. Harold would always know how to make you smile. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harold was known as everyone’s favorite uncle. He was a very loving and caring person and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Bertie Jo Dougan and his brothers, Berthal Dougan and Robert Dougan.

Harold is survived by his children, Charles Allen, Susanne Dougan, Geneva Ann Marie Carliste, Harold Lynn Dougan Jr., Rusty Dougan, Shearidon Dougan, Randy Allen, and Chris Allen, his brothers, Marty Dougan, Waymon Dougan, Jimmy Dougan, Kenny Dougan, Charlie Dougan, his sisters, Alice Ross, Clara Sue McCain, Patricia Fricks, and Carolyn Williams. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Monday June 27th 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sterling-White Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery.
