Alexis Jade 'Lexy' Crittenden, 13, went to heaven Nov. 9, 2004.

Alexis was a seventh-grader at Winfield Middle School where she was involved in the Builders Club and Students Against Destructive Decisions. Her happiness was found in friends, family, dance classes and swimming for the Winfield Swim Club.

Although Alexis was petite in physical stature, her heart and smile were bigger than life. She was blessed with many friends as were friends and family blessed by her.

Alexis was born Oct. 30, 1991, in Wichita, to Rigaile Lawless and Shawn Crittenden. She resided in Wellington until age 2 when the family moved to Winfield. She attended Whittier Elementary School.
