A native of Surrey, North Dakota, she came to Modesto in 1925.
She was a Merced School District bus driver from 1958 to 1963. She was employed as a receptionist at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel from 1965 to 1983.
She was a member of Church of Christ of Oakdale.
Her hobby was music. She took her first airplane ride at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Helen Hendley; seven brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by four children: Lawrence Larry Hendley of Riverbank, Dorothy Casey of Neosho, MO, Irene Conway of Modesto and Lois DuBois of Oakdale; 14 grand children, 32 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held Sunday, November 12 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, with services to be held Monday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m., also at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel.
Interment, at Wood Colony Cemetery.
