Thomas was a Janitor at Thomson Consumer Electronics (formerly RCA) for 32 years. He loved fishing, the outdoors, going to rummage sales, and tinkering around on things. He was a very simple man and loving husband and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, Thomas D. Plummer, Gas City; grandchildren, Luke and Bella Plummer; siblings, Maudie White, Sue Clark, Helen Lopez, Roy Plummer, and Julie Proses; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death were his daughter, Shondella Iris Plummer, and siblings, Ralph Plummer, Margarett Plummer, and Beulah Plummer.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Services for Thomas will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016, at the funeral home with Pastor John Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, Marion.
