David A. Shoemaker, 57, born on Oct. 11, 1958, son of Albert and the late Dolores Zimmerly, passed peacefully at home on
June 21, 2016, after losing his battle with cancer.

David is survived by his loving wife, Katrina Shoemaker; son, Bryce Shoemaker, and father, Albert Shoemaker, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sons, Bradley Bond and Brandon Shoemaker; and brother, Robert Shoemaker.

David enjoyed riding his trike. His passion was being in his garage working on anything with a motor and wheels. He was a recent member of the Boneyard Riding Club. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends.

David was a part of the UPS family for 38 years until his retirement in 2015.

Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Hospice of Washington County.
