Beatrice H. (Fencil) Colgan Pittman, age 75, formerly of Two Rivers, a resident of Burbank,Calif., died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, in Burbank, Calif. Bea was born June 5, 1931, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Charlie and Helen Skiftstrom Fencil. She attended grade school in Two Rivers and graduated with the class of 1949 from Washington High School. She served in the U.S. Army with the WACS in the 1950s. Following her service time, Bea was employed by Columbia Pictures, Motown
Records and served as Public Service Administrator for KTLA-TV. Channel 5, in Los
Angeles. Following her retirement from KTLA. Bea worked as a freelance publicist. She
was the past president and board of directors veteran of Women in Show Business,
Hollywood Women's Press Club and was 1 member of PIRATES (Public Interest Radio
and Television Educational So ciety), serving on their board of directors as first vice president. program, membership chairman and publicity chairman. Upon her retirement from KTLA. PIRATES awarded her a Life Membership.
Survivors include nephew: Ronnie (Linda) Fencil. Two Rivers: nieces: Lori Epley and special friend: Neal Vanderbloemen, Lisa Fencil and special friend: Craig Thielen. and BJ and Mike Leurquin. all of Two Rivers; a sister-in-law: Linda K. Fencil, Two Rivers; and close friend: Sandy Vanderbloemen, Two Rivers. Bea was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Pittman on July 15. 2005: and one brother: Lee C. Fencil.
Private family graveside services will be held at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Pittman family with local arrangements.
