Mrs. Richard Mathiesen, 72, lifelong resident of Two Creeks,
die (sic) Saturday night at the farm home. She had been in
failing health the past year.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Klein
and Stangel Inc., funeral home, Two Rivers, with interment in
the Mishicot cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral
home.
Mrs. Mathiesen, nee Agnes Bartich, daughter of the late Joseph
and Agnes Malley Bartich, who immigrated from Bohemia, was born
in Two Creeks in 1872. She was married to Richard Mathiesen in
1894. He preceded her in death 18 years ago.
Mrs. Mathiesen leaves twin daughters, the Misses Lucy and Anna
Mathiesen at home, and four sons, Ira at home, Edward of Two
Rivers and George and Otto Mathiesen at home. There are four
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
