Son of Everett A. Daniels who resided in Hartford, Connecticut.

Donald served as a Technician Fifth Grade, Headquarters Squadron, 24th Pursuit Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Hartford County, Connecticut prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on November 1, 1938, prior to the war, at Fort McPherson Target Range, Georgia. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the building transportation equipment and also as a Widower without dependents.

Donald became a POW of the Japanese Army during the "Fall Of the Philippines" in 1942.

He "Died While A POW" of the Japanese Army at POW Camp 4, O'donnel, Tarlac, Luzon, Philippines 15-120 during the war.

He was awarded the Prisoner Of War Medal and the Purple Heart.
