Cremation rites will be accorded and a graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Payne Cemetery, rural Pontiac. Memorials in Janet's name may be made to the Livingston County Humane Society, American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Pontiac is handling the arrangements.
Janet was born on April 18, 1933, in Pike Township, a daughter of Gaillard and Helen Hoerner Wagner. She married Robert E. Coup on April 12, 1952, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1980. She later married Llewellyn G. Richard on July 7, 1984, in Chenoa. He preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 2012.
Survivors include one brother, James. A. (Mary) Wagner, Pontiac; and two nieces, Jennifer Rath, Long Grove and Erika Wagner Walker Bright, Wheaton.
Janet was educated in Chenoa schools and received a bachelor's degree from McCormac Business College in Joliet. She was a bookkeeper at Wagner Stone for many years. She was a member of the Frist Presbyterian Church, Pontiac.
