Ms. Buchanan retired from the Charles County Public School system where she was employed as a food service manager. She was a member of the Marbury Baptist Church where she leaves behind many beloved friends.
Born December 1, 1934 in Welcome, she was the son of the late Carroll Wedding, Sr. and the late Lucille V. Wedding.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Ann Bowles and Charlotte Fay Martin; son, Clark Alan Buchanan; brothers, Carroll Wedding, Jr., William Wedding , David Wedding, Harold Wedding and Ronnie Wedding; sisters, Eloise Wenk, and Eleanor Coulby; grandchildren, Christine Morkunas, Erin and Evan Buchanan; great-grandchildren, Logan and Katherine Morkunas; long-time friend and faithful companion, Howard Thompson.
