A devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed crafts, spending time with her grandchildren, dancing with her dad, partying with all of her friends and family and motorcycle rides. She had a zest for life and lived her life to the fullest, never regretting any of her choices. Mona always found the good in everyone and accepted everyone as they were. Survivors include sons, Terry (Dixie) Peterson of Davenport, Todd Peterson of Boise, Idaho, Troy Peterson and Gary (Amy) Bailey, all of Davenport; grandchildren, Tiff, Terry, Jr., and Toni Peterson, Ryan and Dustin Gall, and Nick Phelps, all of Davenport, Sean Peterson of Vancouver, Washington, Jeffrey Peterson of Bend, Oregon, and Richard Bailey of Davenport; three great-grandchildren; her parents of Davenport; sisters, Marie Sammon, Angela Franco, and Juanita Tague, all of Davenport, Rosalee (Richard) Young of Phoenix, Arizona, Katherine (Ronald) Rivera of Rock Island, Illinois, and Mary (Felix) Vallejo of Moline, Illinois; and brother, Manuel (Dana) Franco, Jr. of Davenport. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Risa Peterson, and a grandson, Eric Todd Peterson.
