GROVER "G.G." ROGERS, 47, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at Parkview Hospital. Born Dec. 7, 1958, in Fort Wayne, he was an Order Selector for Super Value for 18 years. Surviving are two brothers, Charles William Rogers and Altion Rogers Jr., both of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Aljean Tubbs, Joann Rogers and Obedient Nichols, all of Fort Wayne; and two grandchildren, Nicholas McPherson and Camari McPherson, both of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father, Altion Rogers Sr., in 1999; and mother, Leona (Chapman), in 1999. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 3506 Warsaw St., with visitation one hour prior to service. The Rev. Malcolm Howell officiating.
