William "Bill" Gerald Goodrich, 83, of Lisle, passed away peacefully at home on Monday January 23, 2012. He is the predeceased by his parents, Anna (William) Goodrich and a daughter. Bill was the eldest surviving sibling of ten. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beverly; loving sons, Mark (Katy) and Bill; four grandchildren, several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and his cherished dog "Missy". Bill was an Honored Veteran of the Armed Services (Korean War), member of the Marathon VFW, member of the Whitney Point Fire Department EMT, worked and retired from Raymond Corp. in Greene, NY. Special Thanks goes out to Lourdes Hospice, Dr. Roy Gill, and Dr. Mohammad Quasem for their exceptional care and services they provided to Bill and his family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11AM from the Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th St Whitney Point, NY 13862. Burial will take place at a later date in Lisle Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Thursday from 10AM until service time at 11AM. Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in William's memory.
