Cody Lynn Musser, 37, of Beavertown, passed away at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Aug. 8, 1978, in Lewistown, a daughter of Gerald Renninger Jr. and Lisa Renninger, of McClure, and Wanda (Schmidt) Romig and Gary Romig, of McClure. Her passing breaks a marital union of 13 years to Charles F. Musser Jr.Cody was a graduate of West Snyder High School and Central Penn Business School where she graduated as a paralegal.She had been employed by JoLees Store, Troxelville, Wood Mode, Kreamer, and for 10 years as a paralegal at the McNeil Law Firm, Richmond, Va.Cody enjoyed raising miniature pinschers, but the greatest joy of her life was her family.In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Matthew and Dana Renninger, of McClure, Tim and Jamie Romig, of McClure, Tom and Kathy Romig, of Penns Creek, Terry and Monica Romig, of Middleburg, and David Gardner, of McClure; two sisters , Tracy Eisenhart, of Newport, and Tevelyn Renninger, of McClure; daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Justin Marshall, and their children, Jacob and Isaac, of Mifflinburg; son and his fiance, Steven Musser, and Lisa Rodgers and their children Kayleann, Brayden and Ava, of Watsontown; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Wanda Musser, of Beavertown; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Tracy Renninger, and one brother, Tony Romig.Friends and family will be received for a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with her cousin, the Rev. Allison S. Bowlan officiating.Burial will be in the Troxelville Union Cemetery.
