Loretta Ann "Snooks" Morris, 85, of Pflugerville, TX, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, in Austin, TX.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the Church of Christ, Grandfield, with Pastor Dwight Parker, officiating.
Interment will be in the Grandfield Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Morris was born September 29, 1930, in Grandfield, Oklahoma, to Calvin Boyd and Virgie (Bolton) Tobias. She grew up and attended school in Grandfield, graduating from Grandfield High School with the Class of 1949. Loretta attended the St. Louis Conservatory of Music for four summers in St. Louis, MO, where she received her Associate Degree. She married Robert F. Morris on January 21, 1956, in Lawton, OK. Loretta taught private piano lessons in Lawton and San Antonio. She was a piano student of Miss Frances Burkhardt in Frederick, OK. She enjoyed cooking and embroidering. She loved to travel and enjoyed camping in her motor home. Loretta was a member of the Church of Christ in Pflugerville, TX.
Survivors include: two daughters, Cathy Morris of Cedar Park, TX and Carol Staton of Pflugerville, TX; four grandchildren, Toby Morris, Jarad Morris, Michael Morris and Craig Morris; and one great grandchild, Phoebe Morris.
She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin Boyd and Virgie (Bolton) Tobias; her husband, Bob Morris; her son, Jim Morris; and her grandson, Timothy Bethune.
