Lisa Ann Barrett of Mount Pleasant Texas passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 51 years of age. She was born on March 28, 1966 in Hopkins County, Texas to James B. Barrett and Wanda Joy (Beck) Barrett.
Lisa was of the Baptist faith, a 1983 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, and an employee of the Lodge. Lisa loved everyone. She never met a stranger, if she made a friend it was for life. Her life was devoted to her family and she especially loved her nieces and nephews.
She leaves her parents, Charles and Joy (Beck) Sullivan of Mount Pleasant, Texas; step-mother, Dollie Reagan Barrett of Quinlan, Texas; sisters, Cheryl Barrett Johnston, Sherri Sullivan and her husband Kevin Summerlin, Cheryl Sanders Vaughan and her husband Keith, brothers, Charles Sullivan, Jerry Sanders, James Sanders and Bobby and his wife Tonya Dawson Sanders; numerous nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father J.B. Barrett; grandparents, Otis and Lilly Mae Hill Barrett, James Robert and Bonnie Faye Spangler Beck, Howard and Georgia Keeling Sullivan and Cora Reagan.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday June 22, 2016 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Texas. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
