PRICE, Andrew Paul - age 34, of Fenton, has left this world and been welcomed into the arms of the angels on June 19, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, June 24, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will be at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. He was born September 25, 1981 in Flint, the beloved son of Paul and Pamela (Beckley) Price. Andy grew un in Hartland and was in the class of 2000 where his friends still lovingly call him "Skinny." He was known for his very quick wit, deep thinking, love of animals, music, and making creative and delicious dishes for his friends, like his guacamole with bananas. He loved computers and in the 10th grade crated his own irreverent web page which he called "Skinny Boy." He played music by ear, and his favorite instrument was the guitar. After graduation, Andrew joined the Army. He was extensively trained in Air Defense Artillery, a highly technical job which he loved. He also completed jump school in Ft. Benning, GA. and was in the 82nd Airborne. Andy LOVED jumping out of planes! However the Army had other plans for him and sent him to Ft. Riley, Kansas where he served with the Iron Rangers. They went to Ramadi, Iraq in 2003. After returning from Iraq he was sent to Ft. Casey, South Korea, at the North Korean border. He finished his time at Ft. Riley. He got his business degree from the University of Michigan Flint and worked in his father's business, RF Design in Howell. Andy leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Paul Price of Highland, and Pamela and Louis Weller of Clio; brother, Steve; step-brothers, Louis Weller (Kathleen Swart), Jason Weller and Rhonda Weller; 3 nieces and 2 nephews; aunts, Sue (Dennis) Parkin, Jean Beckley (Dave Smith), Peggy (Joe) Shereda, Sandy (Tom) Kopfler, Mary Ellen Sullivan, Helen (Charles) Carpenter, Kathy Weller, many other aunts, uncles, and cousins; special cousin, Liz Wise; and close friends, Greg and A.K., Reid and JoAnne, Nick, Dan and Matt as well as many friends he made while in the Army and friends from work including, special friend, Robyn. There to greet him in heaven are his grandparents, Bill and Margaret Price, Oren and Claudia Beckley, and his uncle, Jerry Price. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wounded Warriors, the Humane Society, or the V.A. Hospital in Ann Arbor. Andrew will live forever in our hearts.
