Joshua Stephen Walters, 25, of Wachesaw East, died Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Mr. Walters was born July 17, 1981 in South Williamson, Kentucky, a son of Stephen and Robbin Elswick Walters.
He graduated from Royal High School in Simi Valley, Calif. and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Mr. Walters was employed by Food Lion in Murrells Inlet.
Surviving, in addition to his parents of Murrells Inlet, are his daughter, Lily Addison Walters; brother, Eric Walters; fiancee, Alexandra Kohn, all of Murrells Inlet; paternal grandparents, Steve and Mary Walters, both of Murrells Inlet; maternal grandmother, Maggie Wellman of Columbus, Ohio; and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the funeral home.
