Calvin Winfred Barnett was born February 3, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio to Justus Winfred and Peggy Jean (Fayson) Barnett. He was called home suddenly on November 26, 2011.

Calvin was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School with the class of 1978. Anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Calvin could tell you that he would do anything that he could to help anyone he met, and there was NOTHING he couldn’t do! His hands and his beautiful mind were the tools he used to break down, build, and beautify any task set before him.

He is preceded in death by his Aunt, Ruth Cumbia; his nephew, Brandon Barnett.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memories are his children, son, Calvin Justice Winfred Barnett; daughter, Cartier Ticcarra Nicole Barnett; Stepchildren, whom he loved as his own, Kim Wallace, LaTasha Watkins-Mitchell; Wife, Terri Y. Barnett; Grandchildren, Kevin Barnett, Michael Watkins II, Justice Mitchell, Demetrius Wallace, JaNya Sade Wallace. Loving parents, Justus Barnett, Peggy Barnett, Jr.; devoted brothers, Kenneth (Diane) Barnett, Lester (Alana) Barnett, Lawrence Barnett, Frank Barnett, Jeffrey (Marie) Barnett; his sisters, Terry (Malcolm) Taylor, Esther Bythewood, whom were so very special to him; host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
