George Rutledge Wilson was a maker of carved and gilded picture frames while he lived in England. He referred to himself as "Rutledge" as his first name while they lived in England. He married Margaret O'Brien, who had been born in Whitechapel, London, England- but she was also of Irish Extraction. They had something like 13 children and moved across England- first to Birmingham and then to Manchester. Finally, in 1884 they immigrated to America, where George became a piano tuner in a piano factory in Allston- according to my Aunt and Dad, they also liked to perform in amateur theatricals in England- I looked for them for a long time, and was so happy to finally get to their grave site today- something that my Dad asked me to do before he died- my Dad remembered visiting the site with his Mom and Aunt sometime around 1928!
