Alameda Man, 79, Found Dead in Home
ALAMEDA, Oct. 15. - Cornelius M. Lee, 79-year-old retired contractor, was found dead at the foot of a flight of stairs to the basement of his home at 1526 Morton street, by his son-in-law, G. T. Morris, early this evening. It is believed that he met his death through a fall caused either by dizziness or a misstep on the stairs. Morris called the dead man's son, Walter Lee, who notified police. The body was taken to the Alameda branch morgue.
