Paul Holovach, 84 of Sublette, Kansas died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born October 11, 1928 in Haskell County, Kansas the son of Hermann & Carrie (Koftanovich) Holovach.
A lifetime farmer, Paul has lived his entire life in Haskell County, Kansas.
On February 20, 1949, he married Jeanine Keller in Garden City, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include eight children Terry Holovach of Salina, Kansas, Kelly Holovach of Kansas City, Kansas, Stacy Holovach of Kansas City, Kansas, Kevin Holovach of Ft. Worth, Texas, Chris Holovach of Scott City, Kansas, Gina Bowermaster of Denver, Colorado, Heath Holovach of Mansfield, Texas, & Garth Holovach of Sublette, Kansas; seventeen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Lisa Holovach; a brother Pete Holovach; and a sister Ann Holovach.
A private family interment will take place at a later date at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no calling hours. The family requests memorials given to the Salvation Army in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
