He was born May 21, 1928, in Jordan Township, a son of the late Alice and Geirmon Straub. He was married to the former Mary Snyder who survives.
Lee was employed as a machine operator for Alvord Polk.
He was a member of David's United Church of Christ, Hebe.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Ann Straub, of Sunbury, Lynn and Kim Straub, of Herndon, Larry and Kelly Straub, of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Iva Hoffman, of Millersburg; three grandchildren, Adam, Shane, and Michael; and three great-grandchildren, Miley, Alyssa and Dalton.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Straub and Nelson Straub; and two sisters, Meda Miller and Marion Strohecker.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, followed by the funeral at 11 with the REv. DiAnn L. Baxley officiating.
Interment will be in David's Church Cemetery, Herndon.
